New bus service to Wilderness Rim, Riverbend and trailhead starts Monday, May 23

May 15, 2016

After hearing from Upper Valley residents during public meetings in March and compiling comments from a recent public survey, Snoqualmie Valley Transportation has restructured a route between North Bend and the three “Rs” — Riverbend, the Rim and Rattlesnake.

The new route, called the Cedar Falls Loop, will start service on Monday, May 23. The bus travels between downtown North Bend and Rattlesnake Lake through the summer months, with regular stops along the way on a schedule. “With the Cedar Falls Loop, we are literally taking SVT to greater heights,” said SVT Director Amy Biggs.

“The bus is equipped with a bike rack, so neighborhood recreational riders to Rattlesnake can take the bus uphill and ride the trail downhill. The route has also been designed to connect to our Downtown Loop so riders who want to go from these areas into Snoqualmie can easily get from one route to another.”
