SVTC celebrates completion of five-year transportation plan for Snoqualmie Valley

February 21, 2020

Last week, the Snoqualmie Valley Transportation Coalition (SVTC) finished work on a five-year transportation plan for the Valley, including the cities of Monroe, Duvall, Carnation, Snoqualmie and North Bend. It took the group of community members, cities, King County, Snohomish County, Snoqualmie Tribe, and many local organizations more than two years to assemble, and now that it’s done, the real work can begin.

The real work will be pursuing the funding and partnerships needed to make the projects on the plan’s ambitious list, happen. The projects, at least two for each partner city, were identified as work that support the group’s overall goal of establishing a Valley-wide coordinated transportation plan, connecting all of the partner cities as well as the surrounding region.
